Is there any current technology to enable farm machinery to talk to one another? As in tractor can pass observations to columbine which can also pass observations to sprayer, etc?

Olds College in Alberta, Canada is offering an 8-month program on the theme of Ag Tech Integration. Nevonex from BOSCH is working on this. Connecting multiple colours and different machines. They are starting this initiative in EU. Still a long ways to go. FarmMobile has been working on this with a CanBUS solution. Trimble might be a ways down this path as well.
