Palmer Amaranth has made it into the PNW which is recent to past few years. No known resistance at this time, however is coming back extremely aggressive in my harvested wheat stubble. Curious of what MOA people would suggest to approach this weed as I know it adapts easily to repeated control measures. Considering glufosinate wondering if there is a better alternative? Field will go Corn in 2026 giving me a bit of flexibility with residuals if need be. Thanks for any input!

I live in northern Oklahoma and we have a lot of difficulty controlling Palmer Amaranth. Glufosinate paired with 2-4d or paraquat paired with 2-4d or Dicamba has had the most success. This year with higher humidity and soil moisture the Glufosinate has worked really well. Last year when it was dry and arid the Glufosinate failed. Double check plant back for corn but ally is an excellent tank mix for Palmer on either recipe. For grasses clethodim has worked well mixed with paraquat. If you choose that route.
