Questions on using pond water for spraying: What’s your setup for suction, pump priming/check valves if you have a mobile setup, and filtration Other than AMS with glyphosate, do you add any conditioner or have performance issues ? I know it’s a common practice in some areas.

We have customers in NW Ohio who do a lot of pond water 💧 we just check PH of it but would agree about the 1 pint of chelated manganese especially if spraying clay soils and we double it if it’s droughty or hot and dry!

If the water has turbidity, say after a rain, consider treatment of the pond with aluminum sulfate. It precipitate suspended solids and clarifies the water, important for glyphosate and Reglone in particular.
